Elliot Kleiner
National Director of Operations
Elliot is regarded as an industry-leading specialist in functions and major events, major venues, event security and teenage marketing. There is no other person in this country with his level of experience in conducting every aspect of School Formals and Minor’s Functions.

He’s spoken on live, national breakfast television as the foremost expert on the subject of school formals, and has run workshops on harm minimisation and liability exposure issues at the NSW Secondary Deputy Principal’s Association Conference, of which Prom Night Events was a sponsor for several years.

Elliot’s proven methodology for teen event management is currently the only model accepted in three states as best practice for the industry and applies a road-map to success.

Regional Operations Manager (QLD)
Katrina has a wealth of experience and qualifications in Event Management as well as a really well-established relationship with a huge volume of Australian schools and colleges.

Katrina heads up our Queensland division and is the chief of the Brisbane / Gold Coast regions of the Prom Night family.

She's a savvy entrepreneur with years of experience and success behind several well-known named companies in the School Sector Australia-wide.

Robert is the "business" end of the Queensland Prom Night operation.

Also working from our Brisbane / Gold Coast headquarters, every official part of the event management, contract management and accounts management system passes by his eyes for expert checking.

While being a man of few words, any words that DO come out of him are usually critically important to the way we deliver your perfect event.

Garry's position is critical to the NSW Prom Night Programme for all clients regarding security & safety, personnel, equipment, crowd and alcohol management plans & traffic control plans. This also includes extensive licensing and police liaison with the relevant Local Area Commands on behalf of clients to facilitate optimal performance and execution of strategies to deal with violence, crowd behaviour and drug and alcohol abuse at venues and their respective events. Additionally, strategic planning included contingency placement for the increased terror threat level.

Garry employs, trains and Hand-Picks security personnel for induction into the Prom Night Security Protocols, which are the toughest of any Minor's Function Events Australia wide

Prom Company Timeline

Original Business known as “Audio Concepts” is launched, specialising in Syndicated Radio Broadcasting and music consultancy for major venues.

“Dance Music Roadshow”, a project subsidiary of Audio Concepts, is born with the most spectacular travelling dance party concept yet seen in the industry. Major internationally branded hotel chains begin to subscribe to the service.

With 54 major venues under supply contract, the company re-brands as “Function HeadQuarters” and wins industry award for innovation in packaged event-management concepts.

Pilot “School Formal” packaged event management concept is launched for a 3-year trial with 20 major venues co-sponsoring as partners.

“Prom Night Events”, the newest department of Function HeadQuarters, after a successful trial period is granted NSW State Government compliance approval for commercial release of large-scale School Formal events.

Prom Night Events becomes a stand-alone entity and shoots to the top of the Australian School Formal market with national notoriety and vast media stories focussing on the firm and its products.

Prom Night Events granted approval for commencement of operations in Victoria and Queensland by both State Governments and expands commerce to Melbourne.

Prom Night Events makes the front page of major newspapers and appears on national TV & Radio as the trailblazers of safety, security and compliance in school formal design & operation.

The NSW State Government holds the famous “Alcohol Summit” at Parliament House. Prom Night Events is invited to submit recommendations as the experts in the “Minor’s Functions” sector. At the summit, the Prom Night Operations Manual was introduced as the best model yet written (by the NSW Commission for Children & Young People) and goes on public record. Prom Night Events shares critical information and methodologies with organisers of the infamous “Schoolies” on the Gold Coast.

Prom Night Events features as a key contributor at the NSW Secondary Deputy Principals Association Conference by running a special workshop on Harm Minimisation, Liability Exposure Reduction & Legal Compliance.

Prom Night Events is invited to lecture at the NSW Police Academy on teen alcoholism issues in licensed premises.

Prom Night Events is approached by Reality TV Producers from Matchbox and Endemol (both huge TV production houses) with proposals for a Reality TV Series featuring Prom Night Events and about Prom Night Events’ formals.

NSW Parliament invites Prom Night Events to attend hearings into teen alcoholism issues as an expert consultant. Of the 5 recommendations made by the Social Policy Committee that were adopted and written into amendments to the Liquor Act, 3 were from Prom Night Events, effectively making the company an official part of the legislative process for its own industry.

After a decade-long run of perfect events, Prom Night Events begins winning industry events as the market leader and primary innovator, with the first award being the country’s first Carbon-Neutral Formals.

Prom Night Events launches “Prom TV”, the first ever web-based TV channel with content for young people aimed at the School Formal phenomenon.
