Our On-Line Ticketing System is state-of-the-art. Every formal has its own private ticket sales page. Every guest can select their preferred seating allocation from a floor plan, enter any special food requirements and see all the details of the formal at the time they securely purchase their tickets.

Your ticket fees also go towards one of several amazing charity programmes that run every year.

OOPS! I made a mistake and I need to change something on my ticket!!!

No problem. These are the most common issues and whether we can do this or not…

  • I booked on the wrong table and need to move to a different table. YES!
  • I booked the name of my partner, who has now changed. YES!
  • I changed or misspelled my email address. YES!
  • I want to move someone ELSE away to another table. NO!
  • I want to change my ticket name to my Nickname. NO!

For these kinds of requests, just use the form below and we’ll make your changes.

When do I get my tickets?

It’s a 2-Step process…

1/ You buy the tickets online – immediately you receive a confirmation by email. If you use the link you can print it but it says “This is not a ticket”. This can be a little confusing at first but don’t worry.

2/ Around 2 days before the event, you’ll receive a NEW email telling you that the tickets are ready for downloading & printing.

Why do we do this? Because the seating plans are quite complex and there are always a few changes during the planning stages, we hold off on the issuing of tickets until the plans are totally settled. Your new ticket will contain lots of information, including your seating allocation.

Lost Tickets

“The dog ate them” – “They went through the wash” – “I lost my wallet” – “My Boyfriend had a bathroom emergency”

You wouldn’t believe the stories we hear about what happened to tickets.

The first thing to remember is DON’T PANIC! If you were issued a ticket in the first place, then your details are already in our system so you will have a seat at the formal no matter what.

Of course the having your ticket in hand when you arrive at the door is by far the smartest option. If you don’t have your ticket on you, we will have to delay things while looking you up through our system. We’d prefer not to hold you (and others) up with that process.

If you purchased your tickets through our TryBooking online ticketing system, then it’s easier than you’d think to get your ticket.

Option 1/ Go back to the original email you received when you first booked. There will be a link to your tickets online for re-printing.

Don’t forget to check your spam folder if you can’t find it – also if running a search, use “trybooking” as the search string and it should come up straight away.

Option 2/ If you’ve lost or deleted the original email, go to the TryBooking web page HERE and enter the email address you originally used for the booking and the system will re-issue another email with a link to your tickets.

Option 3/ If you either didn’t use the online ticketing system, or none of the above works, just show up with photo ID and we’ll look you up manually.

In any case, we look forward to seeing you on the night.

Ticket Assurance

There are sometimes reasons beyond anyone’s control that prevent you from being able to attend the formal. In the case of individuals, there may be severe illness, accident or other related major emergency. In the case of events and venues, it could be that a venue suffers a catastrophe or the event is prevented from going ahead due to unforeseen technicalities.

In such cases (subject to criteria) you may be able to obtain a full refund of your ticket purchase price. We offer an inexpensive ticket cost assurance through TikCover that enables all ticket purchasers to add optional cover to their ticket purchase. If anything prevents you from attending the formal, you may be able to claim a refund.

What TikCover covers you for…

Venue Catastrophe

If something unforeseen happens to the venue. This can be damage, license or zoning changes or any other unfortunate thing that prevents the venue from being able to host the event.

Event Manager Catastrophe

If anything unforeseen (like the above) happens to the event manager (in this case Prom Night Events) preventing the event from going ahead.

Ticket Holder Catastrophe

If the ticket holder experiences a major health incident (severe injury, severe illness requiring emergency medical intervention / hospitalisation etc) preventing attendance at the event.

Bereavement (family member passing etc)

Other unforeseeable personal catastrophe (home fire / weather decimation etc.) preventing attendance at the event.

In the above examples, documented evidence would need to be received to verify the incident.

What TikCover DOES NOT cover you for…

  • Claims lodged AFTER the commencement time of the event.
  • Changing your mind on a ticket purchase.
  • Your partner deciding not to come to an event with you.
  • A family event clashing with the same date.
  • Being forbidden to attend by your parents.
  • Illness or injury to someone other than a ticket holder.
  • Evacuation or cancellation due to terrorism threat, fire threat, criminal mischief threat, unruly or illegal behaviour at the event causing the event to be shut down or preventing it from proceeding.
  • Transport problems
  • Wardrobe malfunctions
  • Emotional breakdowns or arguments
  • Motor vehicle accidents (unless they result in catastrophic injury requiring emergency medical intervention as described above)
  • Failure to remember that the event is on
  • Failure to be organised early enough to attend
  • Conflicting events scheduled on the same date
  • Any other occurrence resulting in failure of attendance at the event deemed to be unacceptable by the Event Manager, Security staff or the Venue staff.

If your ticket is scanned in at the door, you are deemed to have attended.
